Canceling CallJolt: No Contracts, No Hassle — Here's How It Works

CallJolt has no contracts and no cancellation fees. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Here is exactly what happens when you do — and a few things worth knowing before you decide.

One of the principles CallJolt is built on is that contractors should not be locked into a service that is not working for them. There are no annual contracts, no cancellation fees, and no 'call us to cancel' hoops. If you want to cancel, you can do it yourself in two minutes from your dashboard.

How to Cancel Your CallJolt Account

  1. 1Log into your CallJolt dashboard at calljolt.com
  2. 2Go to Account Settings
  3. 3Select Billing and Subscription
  4. 4Click Cancel Subscription
  5. 5Confirm the cancellation

Your service remains active until the end of your current billing period. If you cancel on March 15th and your billing period ends on March 31st, you have full service through March 31st. You are not charged again after that.

What Happens to Your Phone Number

If you ported your business number to CallJolt, you can port it back out to another carrier. CallJolt's support team handles this transfer process — it typically takes 1–3 business days. If you were using call forwarding from your existing number, simply remove the forward and your number goes back to ringing normally.

What Happens to Your Data

After cancellation, your call transcripts and account data remain accessible for 30 days. During this window, you can export any transcripts, call records, or customer information you want to keep. After 30 days, your data is deleted from CallJolt's systems per the privacy policy.

Consider Pausing Instead of Canceling

If you are going through a slow season, taking a break, or just not sure yet — CallJolt offers a pause option on select plans. Pausing suspends your service and billing temporarily without canceling your configuration. When you resume, everything is exactly as you left it. This is useful for contractors with strong seasonal patterns who do not need 24/7 coverage in their slow months.

We would rather earn your business every month

No lock-ins means CallJolt has to keep delivering value every billing cycle. That is how we prefer it.

Before You Cancel: Common Issues We Can Fix

Most contractors who cancel do so because of a specific issue that could have been resolved with a configuration change. If the AI is saying something incorrect about your pricing, that is a settings update. If you are getting too many SMS alerts, that is a notification preference. If call volumes are higher than your plan covers, an upgrade might solve it. Before you cancel, consider reaching out to support — most issues are resolved in a single conversation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cancellation fee?

No. There is no cancellation fee, no early termination fee, and no penalty of any kind for canceling.

Do I have to call to cancel?

No. You can cancel entirely through your dashboard in about two minutes. No phone calls, no retention conversations, no hassle.

Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-month?

CallJolt's standard policy does not include pro-rated refunds for unused days in a billing period. Your service remains active through the end of the period you have already paid for.

What if I want to come back after canceling?

You can reactivate your account at any time. If it has been less than 30 days since you canceled, your previous configuration may still be available. After 30 days, you would start fresh with a new setup.
